Our online automated loan application is available 24/7. However, our customer support is open Monday to Friday 24 hours a day, Saturday to Sunday from 7 am to midnight, Eastern Standard Time. We are also open on weekends and holidays!

General About Loans & Applications
- Are at least 19 years old.
- Are a Canadian citizen and reside in the provinces where our services are available which are British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, or Prince Edward Island.
- Have been receiving the same source of income for the past 3 months.
- Have a net income of at least $800/month deposited in your bank account.
- Have a Canadian bank account that has been open for at least 3 months and has access to online banking.
- Have a valid mobile phone number, address, and email address.

We accepted all income types! As long as you meet the minimum requirements, you can apply for a loan with us! We accept Child Tax, ODSP, AISH, provincial disability, CPP, Old Age Security and more. Simply fill out the Employment Details section of the application with the details of your benefit income.
Unfortunately, our agents can’t do the application for you over the phone for security purposes. You can complete yourself the application on i-lend.ca or you can use our mobile application on iOS or on Android by searching “ilend.ca” on the mobile store.
It is not guaranteed that you will get a higher loan amount on your next loan. Your loan amount is calculated by our algorithms which take into consideration your salary, spending habits, and other loan payments, just to name a few. Obviously, repaying your loan on time can help to increase your future loan amount.

To have an impact on credit files, payments have to be reported during a long-term period to the credit bureaus. Our algorithms will analyze the information provided in your application and provide you with a loan amount. Please keep in mind that our Customer Experience Agents cannot guarantee a specific amount as it is an automated system that makes the decision. We pride ourselves on being responsible lenders so we will not lend more than your repayment capacity allows.
Not long at all! The quick and easy loan application takes about 5-10 minutes to fill out and you can complete it 24/7. No documents are required and you will obtain your automated response at the end of the process.
Applying at i-LEND is a smooth and easy process. The first step is to go on i-lend.ca. You can also find i-lend.ca on your Android or iOS device on the App Store. Select the amount you wish to borrow, the number of repayments, and your province. Then simply follow the instructions, and you will be asked to create an account and then start your application process. It’s that simple!

I Need to Know About Pay-Outs!
If you have been pre-approved, this means that your loan application has passed the first validation steps successfully but some of the information provided still needs to be manually reviewed by our Credit Team. Our team is constantly reviewing loan applications Monday to Friday 24/24 and Saturday, and Sunday from 7 am to midnight. Normally, you will receive an email response within 1-2 hours but it could go up to 4 hours on our most busy days.
The e-transfer is automatically sent to your email address 2 minutes after the contract signature. If you don’t see it in your email inbox, make sure to check your junk folder as well. Make sure to verify if you received the e-transfer into the email mailbox address you used to create your i-LEND account on i-lend.ca. If you had set up the auto-deposit for this email address, you won’t receive an email and instead, you will receive the money directly into the bank account linked to your email address. So please take a look first at your bank account to see the deposit. If you still find nothing, it is possible that Interac has banned your email address so you can’t accept e-transfers anymore to this email address. To validate that, you can contact Interac directly at 1-888-238-6433. If you wish to validate if from our side the e-transfer has been sent, you can send an email to support@i-lend.ca asking at what hour the e-transfer has been sent.
The 3-repayment option is only available to customers who are paid weekly, bi-weekly, or twice a month from the same income source. You might have been able to select the 3 repayments option at the beginning of the application, but if our system finds out a monthly income, your repayment option will be lower to 1 payment. However, if you really believe an error was made regarding your income, please send an email to support@i-lend.ca with the details.

E-Transfers are email money transfers that are sent to your email address. Once you receive the email in your mailbox, you have to follow a link into the email to manually deposit the money into your bank account. If you already set up the autodeposit, this step will be done automatically. The magic about e-Transfers is that it can be sent and received 24/7 no matter if the bank is open or not. If you have selected this option into your loan application, you will receive your e-Transfer 2 minutes after having sign your contract and will be able to access your money even on Weekends and Holidays.
Alternatively, direct deposits are deposited directly into your bank account. If you have selected this option in your loan application, your money will be automatically deposited into the bank account mentioned in your loan agreement and your funds will be sent at 2:30 pm EST the same day or the next business day (depending on what time you sign your Loan Agreement). Once sent, the reception of your funds in your bank account may take between half a day to one business day.
Be sure to answer ‘NO’ to the question in the application that asks if you would like to receive your funds by e-transfer. Those who answer ‘NO’ to that question will be receiving their funds by direct deposit. On our side, the funds will be sent in the next file scheduled for a direct deposit which is Monday to Friday at 2:30 pm EST. Depending on your financial institution, you should see the funds in your bank account on the evening of the same day the direct deposit was sent or the day after.
What About Payments?
We take care of everything! Your loan payment will be debited directly from your bank account on your pay date, as agreed upon in your loan agreement.

What a service!
If you wish to know what your remaining balance is, please contact our Customer Experience Agents at support@i-lend.ca. Please note that this balance can change every day so make sure not to send this amount by e-transfer another day than today. Also, it is possible that you have a payment in process that is not yet confirmed by the bank as successful or not. In this case, our agents will provide you the remaining balance, but inform you that if the payment in process is returned unsuccessful, this balance will be added to the remaining balance
*Please note that repaying by e-transfer in advance will NOT allow you to reapply immediately for residents of Alberta, Manitoba, and Nova Scotia.
In Alberta and Nova Scotia, you will not be able to reapply until the final payment due date that was scheduled in your loan agreement. For more information, please refer to how to reapply
In Manitoba, you will have to wait 7 days after your final payment date before you can reapply for a new loan, in accordance with Manitoba regulations.
Repaying by e-transfer is reserved for our elite customers. This privilege can be granted only as of your second loan with us.
On your first loan, you can only repay by e-Transfer if it is 4 business days minimum before your due date.
On your second loan or more, you can repay by e-Transfer in advance or on your due date.
*Please note that if you do not send your payment before 11 am EST time on your due date, your pre-authorized debit will be reactivated and you will lose your privilege to repay by e-Transfer.
However, there are very important steps to follow “before sending a payment by e-Transfer”.
PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY
Never send a payment by e-Transfer before validating the balance amount with us because in case you under or overpay, this will add a delay in the treatment. Once you have obtained the balance, send the payment right away. Your balance can be different tomorrow.
Never send payment by e-Transfer before validating if the Pre-authorized debit has already been initiated to avoid double payment. Read carefully your email to see if there is a deadline to send payment. If yes, don’t send the payment after this deadline.
*If you send an e-Transfer and the payment has already been initiated, you will have to wait 4 business days for treatment by our accounting team to recover the overpaid amount.In case you have a previous payment done in the last 4 business days that is not yet confirmed by the bank, we may ask you to send proof a payment first for that payment. Once our agents will have validated your proof of payment, you will receive an email stating that you can now send the e-Transfer.
Only after having received the OK, send your e-transfer to payment@i-lend.ca (no password required). If a question/password is required, put “password required” for the question and “i-lend” for the answer. Make sure to add your i-LEND email or loan number with the e-Transfer in the free fields.
The process of updating your payment in our system is done manually by our accounting team from 8 am to 8 pm. This process may take 1 -2 hours but can be longer on our most busy days.
No need to send us an email! Once your payment will be treated, you will receive an email and an SMS stating that you can re-apply.
*Just keep in mind that reapplying for a new loan does not guarantee you will obtain a higher loan amount.

If you believe the repayment dates on your contract are not following your pay date(s) please send your requested repayment dates by email to support@i-lend.ca.

Unfortunately, we cannot postpone your first payment. The system will always select the upcoming payroll(s) as your next repayment date(s) and will never go over 62 days to respect the legislation. However, if you believe your repayment date(s) do not fall on your pay date(s), please send an email to support@i-lend.ca with the details.
The password for the e-transfer has been provided to you by email and by SMS at the same time the e-transfer was sent to you. Make sure to validate these two channels prior to contacting us. If you still can’t find the password, you can contact us at support@i-lend.ca.
The process of debiting your account can sometimes be longer with some bank institutions. The reason is that the banks have to exchange their files and process these requests on their side after. The major banks are fast but it can happen that some smaller institutions take more time to process a debit or a deposit. If you don’t see the debit in your account in the morning, please wait until the afternoon to see if it is processed. If the day after you still don’t see the payment, please send us an email at support@i-lend.ca.
We will only process pre-authorized debit payments according to the loan agreement you signed with i-LEND. Please revise first your loan agreement before contacting us. The fastest way to find your Loan Agreement is to go into your mailbox and search for an email coming from i-LEND to which your Loan Agreement is attached. In case you have missed a payment, one of our collection account managers will contact you to find you the best options so you can repay your loan easily.

Please sign back into your i-LEND account and try signing the contract again. Simply click on ‘Sign your Contract’, then confirm that the payment dates are correct and click ‘I accept’. Below there will be **2** signature areas to sign, then you click on ‘I agree’ at the bottom. E-transfers are email money transfers, meaning the money is sent to an email. Once you receive the email in your mailbox, you have to follow a link to the email to deposit the money into your bank account manually. If you have already set up the auto-deposit, (linking an email to a bank account) this step will be done automatically. So the e-transfers we sent you cannot really be sent to the wrong bank account as it is your choice to deposit it where you want to. If for any reason you forgot to remove to auto-deposit function and your e-Transfer was sent to a bank account you can’t access anymore, you will need to contact your bank directly and find a solution with them as on our side the process is completed and your funds have been sent to the email address requested into your loan agreement.
If a payment is returned to your bank account for any reason (non-sufficient funds, stop payment, account frozen…), we will charge you an NSF fee. Your bank may also charge you an NSF fee.
